Our Home
In the middle of Berlin. Right in the thick of it.
Sporthalle Am Zirkus is just a few minutes' walk from Berlin Central Station. We train here, play home matches here — and sometimes just hang out here.
Community
After the match comes the evening.
Whether it's end-of-season, a spontaneous dinner after training, or a trip for a friendly match: you won't stay a stranger here. We know each other — and that makes all the difference.

Club History · Founded 1948
From a factory sports club to a multi-sport association.
SV Friedrichstadt traces its origins to a company sports club of the East German Ministry of Foreign Trade. Founded in 1948 as "DIA Kompensation", renamed several times, at its peak with 1,700 members across 17 sections and sports festivals with up to 2,000 participants — the club was always more than a single sport.
After reunification, "BSG Außenhandel" became "Sportvereinigung Friedrichstadt e. V." in 1991. Table tennis is the active section today — but the club's roots run deeper and wider.
