The 3rd team of SV Friedrichstadt suffered a clear defeat in their away match against SSV Friedrichshain II in the District League E (Mitte-Ost) and lost 0:10. The hosts' superiority was already evident in the two doubles matches: while Hirche and Reiner narrowly lost a five-set thriller in the second doubles (11:8, 3:11, 11:9, 6:11, 5:11), Gertman and Kreische offered less resistance in their doubles match. In the following eight singles matches, none of our players managed to win a single set – all matches were lost 0:3. Alexander Reiner showed character in the fourth singles match and at least fought for one set (8:11, 11:6, 10:12, 8:11), but even this was not enough to secure a point. With only 211 balls struck against 356 by the opposition, the clear performance difference is evident.
